The College of Piping and Celtic Performing Arts of Canada was founded with the support of a small, yet dedicated group of volunteers. Much of The College’s success today is owed to the hard work of committed volunteers who have continued to give their time, money and energy in support of The College’s mission.
Volunteers are required in a number of different areas:
- Office administration (bulk mailings, photocopying, filing)
- Summerside Highland Gathering (event planning, transportation, hospitality, ticket admissions, signage, parking, children’s events, beverage services, scrutineers, security, sound and lighting, set up and tear down)
- Special events (press conferences, galas, open houses, recitals)
- Amphitheatre (costume and prop acquisition/creation, set design, pre-production set-up, stage management, ushers, concession stand)
A love of the Celtic arts, commitment to community, and the desire to make new friends are just some of the reasons to become a volunteer at The College of Piping! And we could sure use your help!
